Neogen Europe provides tools to the food and animal feed industries to verify that products are free from undesirable contaminants and also to monitor accidental cross-contamination.

Neogen Europe offers a number of rapid screening and specific tests to allow for the identification of contaminated produce. For the animal feed industry, an on-site lateral flow test is available to detect the presence of ruminant meat and bone meal (MBM) in bone meal and animal feed. Specific PCR-based test kits are also available to allow identification of numerous animal species from a variety of matrices. For the dairy industry we can provide rapid screening test kits to identify the presence of cow's milk in sheep or goat's milk, or alternatively to detect goat's milk in cow's or sheep milk.
